It is designed for easy use, allowing you to connect your radio to your PC and program settings and frequencies using the included CD. No drivers are required for most radios, but if the cable is not recognized, simply install the driver for the chip, plug the cable into the Baofeng radio and PC, and check the COM port settings on your computer.
